Sushi Vinegar (If You Want To Learn To Make Sushi, You Should Have This!)

I've already posted a recipe for making authentic Japanese sticky rice.  I'll be helping you make sushi (California Roll) soon.  If you want to try that, sticky rice is an essential and if you want your sushi to be authentic, you really need to also have this recipe for making Sushi Vinegar.  It's very easy and while not essential, it's certainly found in any good Japanese sushi you get.  I recommend you keep this recipe handy if you want to try your hand at sushi later on!

INGREDIENTS
(Enough sushi vinegar for use with 2 cups of cooked sticky rice for sushi making)
4 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Granulated White Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt

Combine the ingredients above in a small saucepan.  Bring to a boil over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.  You could also just put the ingredients into a microwave safe bowl and one minute in the microwave should accomplish the same result.  If you have a small bottle, you might make a larger batch and keep it handy for future sushi making.  It will keep just fine.

I'll explain how to add it to the sticky rice in the sushi making recipe I give you later.
